The Tesla Roadster is a fully electric electric car, the first model produced by Tesla Motors, an electric car manufacturer, a total of 2,450 vehicles were sold among the different versions of the Roadster. The final price for 2008 of the basic model was 98,000 USD, plus a charge of $950. Most of the first 200 Roadsters sold in October 2006 were equipped with all optional equipment, costing around $100,000. The price of the 2009 models was increased to USD 109,000.
